? It was normal weather for Cubs opening day. Low 40s dropping to 32, intermittent drizzling rain during the day turing to sleet at sunset, mild wind gusts of about 25 mph. I'm just being crochety, I guess. ~_^
It's beautiful, today. Sunny, no wind, 50s. I spent much of the morning outside.
FWIW, I don't have to lurk to know what's happening at Patterico's. I bet there is an interesting discussion about Mozilla and Brendan Eich in which people agree (and rightfully so) that Mozilla is hypocritical for trying to tell its employees what they can and can't believe or talk about. Meanwhile, certain predictable commenters are lecturing others about what they can and can't talk about. I love P's website but ... Been there, done that, and never doing it again.
By the way, I think I know what's happening with my comments. I switched from Mozilla to another browser that has more privacy, and I suspect your filter sees that as spam. I'm sorry but there may not be anything you can do except check the filter now and then.
I don't want you to have to mess with the spam filter so I'll use IE to post my comments here. I'm not worried about you having my IP and other information.
Your parents are very attractive. When did your family come to America, and where did they live at first?
The spam filter is Blogger, not an add-on of mine, and I don't know what other information Blogger collects. As you wish, but I don't mind clearing your comments once Blogger notifies my email.
We all came in 1967, to Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood. I went to Avondale School at 2900 North Sawyer and to Lane Tech at 2400 West Addison if you'd like to google them.

Your parents, individually, and you with your grandparents?
Yes. Both of my parents twenty or so.
What's going on with you, DRJ?
I'm doing very well but I missed you. And how are you?
No complaints other than the weather, thank God.
Why the weather complaints, nk? The online weather report looks okay for this time of year -- although Las Vegas would be nice, too!

Are you at least lurking at Patterico's?
Today's weather sounds a little better, and no.
I'm commenting here instead!
I'm glad the weather is better, and no.
I don't know why your last comments were sent to the spam filter. Blogger is stupid. But gift horse ....
That's a relief. I thought I had posted my comments incorrectly.

No problem. I also get email notifications of your comments, spam or not. Now if I could get notifications of my email .... ^_^
And I suspect you're right about your privacy settings. Google (which is Blogger) wants cooookies!

Did I understand your comment at P's Place correctly -- is your daughter off to college? If so, how wonderful and congratulations.
