That's a very nice one. If I'm remembering right the artistic design was made with a punch. Much better than some I saw where an attempt had been made to chrome them - with the chrome peeling off in unsightly flakes.
Much of the cottage industries in India and Asia, from car-repair to making shoes could have better results if the infrastructure, composition materials, and preparation were of a better grade because the talent is there - fluids not contaminated or diluted, electrodes not rusted or broken, metal polished-down with a proper rouge instead of a rusty file and sand or mud-stone...even if the electricity was not on and off intermittently, and variable voltage.
