A new thematoheroas has emerged in the on-going struggle for pluralism and tolerance in a repressive, reactionary society which responds with hatred and discrimination to anyone who threatens to throw off the normative chains forged by millennia of patermaternalistic, sophocratic oppression. DEA agent Lee Paige refuses to accept the debasing victimization attempted to be imposed on him by an insensitive, intolerant meritocracy. He has filed suit against his employer even though the lawsuit itself has sparked the cliched Neanderthal-like knee-jerk accusations of pedokindynia, exemplified by this: "This mother@#$%ing @#$hole was playing with a loaded gun in front of children?" Because of an archaic legal rule designed to prevent people like Agent Paige from vindicating their rights, namely that lawyers should not file lawsuits that do not pass the giggle test, he has been forced to proceed pro se. It is to be hoped that all thoughtful progressive supporters of the BTA will rally to establish a legal fund and that there will be further lawsuits against, at least, 1) Providence which forced Agent Paige to shoot himself instead of one or more of the schoolchildren, in direct violation of the constitutional principles which are the foundation of Roe v. Wade and 2) against his parents for wrongful birth under the holding of Buck v. Bell.
